I set up TailorMade Tuition to offer something I felt was missing - high-quality, personalised tuition from qualified teachers who understand how to bring out the best in every learner, regardless of their starting point.
As a qualified English teacher, specialist dyslexia teacher and former Head of English, with over twenty years of experience in both mainstream and specialist schools, I understand how to create engaging and meaningful lessons to suit all types of learners. I am proud to say that I have helped countless students, of all abilities, grow in confidence and achieve academic success.

In groups, the young people collaborate and grow in confidence to share their ideas and develop key skills in English . The learners enjoy their sessions and appreciate the use of games and collaborative learning to enthuse and engage. All learners feel valued and included.
Young people at TailorMade Tuition feel academically stretched and challenged because the work is closely tailored to their skills and current point of learning. The gaps in their skills, knowledge and understanding in English are filled each session. Each session they are able to recall their key learning and the rapid progress they have made.
Students develop core transferable skills which will support their learning inside and beyond the classroom. They build confidence and develop pride in their work.
